Introducing Fulton Chiropractor Dr. Jerry Radas

"Too Much Snow." (New England Weather)

My first experience with chiropractic was when my wife hurt her back shoveling snow.  She could hardly move and wasn't sure what to do.  She does not like taking drugs for symptoms so, after talking to her mother, she decided to make an appointment with a local chiropractor.  On her first visit he examined her and took some x-rays and then, on her second visit, he told her what was wrong and what he could do to help her.  After several adjustments she started feeling better and within a short period of time she was back to her usual self.  I was so intrigued and impressed by what I saw and learned that, about a year or so later, I was preparing to go to chiropractic college.  The natural approach appealed to me along with being able to use my hands and brain to help people.  What a great combination and fit for me!

I went to Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology and then a Doctorate in Chiropractic, Summa Cum Laude.

Since that time I have received the following post-graduate certifications:

  • National Board of Chiropractic Examiners
  • Licensed in Maryland
  • Maryland Chiropractic Association-Member
  • Licensed in Missouri
  • Licensed in Virginia
  • Chiropractic Biophysics Technique-Distinguished Fellow

My wife Judy and I - along with our two sons, Jared and Jordan - moved to Maryland after graduation and we opened our own Fulton chiropractic practice in 1994 and we have been serving the Fulton community ever since.  Away from the office I enjoy reading, exercising, working in the yard and remodeling projects around the house, in addition to spending time with my family.

I get adjusted once a week, try to get three workouts in per week, and constantly read and work to improve my eating habits... all to enhance my own health.  My family and I don't take drugs or medications for symptoms, but we practice what we preach by practicing natural means to maintaining our health.

Enough about me! How can we help you with today's safe and natural chiropractic care?  Give us a call at Fulton Family Chiropractic so we can help you take your first step towards better health.

Dr. Jerry Asks some important questions of interest to Fulton residents - Chiropractor Fulton Dr. Jerry Asks...

Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Fulton chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
